ROCK HALL — Kent County Public Schools' last day of instruction for the 2022-23 school year is Friday, June 9.
Thursday, June 8 will be a half day for Kent County Middle School and Kent County High School. Friday, June 9 will be a half day for all Kent County Public Schools.
The half day dismissal times are:
• Kent County Middle School at 11:30 a.m.
• Kent County High School at 11:35 a.m.
• Elementary schools (Friday only) at 12:45 p.m.
Monday, June 12 will be the last contract day for all 10-month school system employees.
Students were originally scheduled to have their last day of school on Thursday, June 15.
The calendar change reflects that Kent County Public Schools has not used any inclement weather days during the 2022-23 academic year.
